Welcome New Year with sustainability
Introspect a better new year with nature and sustainability
As we look back to the year 2020, we could notice lot of events like any other year. However the pandemic has been very significant and it all impacted people across the world globally. The positive side of it is that we all stood together, fought, stayed resilient in this critical time and have come across thus far.
As we move ahead and enter into a new year 2021 for a fresh new journey, we look forward to a much brighter, safer and better planet earth and confident that we all will do well, keep safe and survive in any crunch situations that we may face in future. Our learnings from the pandemic situation taught us a lot of dimensions. For example: how to be hygienic, how to stay safe, how to be disciplined, how to make our place greener and more sustainable etc.
There is a lot of pollution now a days in our environment which can be harmful for people having breathing problems or diseases like asthma. For example: in some places, the Air Quality Index(AQI) is high that is not good for health. So, to make 2021 a greener and healthier year, we should follow the 4R framework (Reducing, Reusing, Recycling and Recovering).

Here, I have made a canvas painting to demonstrate the nature’s beauty and the greenness in nature. One is to pay respect to nature, have this determination in all of us to follow some basic processes as in 4R framework represented above and then expect for a better living.

Additionally, I wish 2021 to be something similar to the above picture where we all can enjoy nature’s beautiful waterfalls, wonderful trees, plants and greenery, but without hurting it. That way we can take care of our mother earth and survive a better and prosperous lifestyle.
I wish all readers, my friends and their families a very happy new year 2021. May we live a better life with more success, peace, love and “green surroundings” in 2021!!
